Hi everybody, this is a little in-between post for you to enjoy about dancing.
When I ask you to dance, no one is going to judge you. It’s not a competition.
I’m inviting you to step into His grace, to step into the truth of who you already are in Him. Why? Because our whole world is wired to judge you by your performance, and it’s natural for us to feel like God works that way, too. But He doesn’t. He’s got a completely different system. It’s called grace. And we can believe in it, rest in it, and dance in it like no one’s watching. You might be hearing the call of the music; the Holy Spirit who will guide you. (Pete Briscoe from devotional I dare you to DANCE in YouVersionapp)
And if you stumble, make it part of the dance
“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing, a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away, a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak, a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace.” Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 NIV
And when you dance your purpose is not to get to a certain place on the floor. It’s to enjoy each step along the way.
